Starting July Right

There are little things that make me happier than a "fat kid coming off a diet" (Kylee Geisler's little phrase for ya). And that is summer in general.

Getting off work early.
Pool party with Bryce Brinkman, Ethan Precourt, Stephanie, Kylee and new friends.
Swimming, sun bathing, football... chilling.
DI outfit shopping.
2 to 1 dates in D.I. outfits.
Screaming I LOVE AMERICA.
Finding those salmon shorts I've wanted for months.

My amazing family: Mom, Dad, Luke, Kylee, Brooklyn, Austin, Adam and Emmalee. My grandparents and Bryden, and the uplifiting words of my grandpa saying goodbye to me in my ear: You're an inspiration to ALL the girls in this family. I just cried. It means so much to me to hear someone I respect so much say that to me. I love family.

Floating the river makes me happy.
Attempting cliff jumping.
Meeting new people.
Being invited to things make me happy.
Happy optimistic people...
Being asked on dates.

A rose from Chauncy Harrison along with dinner at my favorite restaurant, a movie and the best firework show of all time.

What a fourth of July weekend.

What makes me happiest of all is that AMAZING freedoms we have in this country. That I can get an education, that I can follow my dreams, that I can walk into the church of my choice and pray to the God of my choice. That my faith is "allowed," and I can do anything I set my mind to.

I'm so thankful for everyone who serves this country. That someone has fallen for my freedoms, that someone has fought so I can feel safe. I love this country.
