DIY Wedding - Brooch Bouquet

Life has calmed down.
I am all caught up in school
and all caught up in wedding.
Now it's just little things here and there 'til it gets closer.
Which it does... EVERY DAY.

I just want to talk about my latest project.

DIY Brooch Bouquet.

I tossed around many ideas when it came to my bouquet.
Big bouquet, white bouquet, small bouquet...
and Vanessa Anderton suggest a brooch bouquet.

The theme of my wedding again, is rustic and vintage.
This was one of my inspirations for it... and also $630+.

It's a little too blingy for me... just cuz I'm not a blingy person...
and I don't spend money like that on something small like this.

Anyway, back to the point.
I finally decided on what I wanted to make.

A brooch bouquet of my own.
I bought eight brooches.

 Borrowed my lover's wire cutters.

Twisted them into stems.

Added some hydrangeas underneath for volume and the white.

Wrapped it. Added leaves.

Added some pearls
And there you have it...

My very own brooch bouquet.
I hope you love it as much as I do.
It's better than I hoped it would look.
AND fits right with the look.
I am in love with all these crafts.
