Tonight we are proud puppy parents.
// Duke graduated from puppy class. \\
In order to graduate he had to:
Come when called (with distractions).
Loose leash walk.
Sit for two greetings from strangers.
Sit to greet a stranger dog.
Do three doggy push-ups.
(sit, down, sit, down, sit).
"Stay" (meaning sit in the same spot) for thirty seconds.
When we started this class, Duke knew nothing.
Now he can sit, stay, down, high five, up, spin around, come when called,
sit for greeting, loose leash walk and more.
we know a lot more too.
We learned about grooming, potty training, eating... and lots more.
The only one he has mastered (meaning he doesn't need treats to do) is sit.
The rest we are still rewarding him, but he has come such a long way.
This class at Petsmart was lots of fun and so worth it.
I highly recommend taking it with your puppy!
We have an awesome dog, and he will continue to learn and be more awesome.
My favorite is high five.
