Blessed

Today I am feeling very blessed.
I just spent an amazing week home with my family and boyfriend.
I am in love with the state that I come from
and the people who surround me.

Life is great.

I was told I wouldn't have hours at my job last week.
Yesterday I interviewed for a new position that I really wanted.
And I got the job during the interview.
I start friday working in the infant room at the DDE center on campus.
Side note... I LOVE babies.
And I am very excited for this new opportunity.
I won't even miss a pay check.

I am thankful for the experiences I have had at past jobs
that allowed for me to get this one.
I am sad to leave the kids I have grown to love this last year,
but excited to love eight more precious babies.
And the best part is...
I get enough hours and get to keep all my credits.
Heck, I even get to go to institute during the day for once in my life.

Sometimes I stress and freak out quite honestly...
when looking for a job, apartment... something with school,
friends, family, boys... EVERYTHING.
However I realize very quickly how very blessed I am.
And once again I need to focus more on that.

Another big blessing in my life is my family.
My mother is amazing.
My father is amazing.
My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings are amazing.
I am grateful today for my mother's support and encouragement.
And for Barbi.
Just a conversation about daily life takes a load off around Barbi.
She has turned from aunt to close friendish/sisterish/aunt these days.
I love my family.

:)

Life. Is. Good.
