Costa Rica: Day Six

Today's post won't have a lot of details or stories because it was very uneventful.

We went to Bebitos and celebrated the baby's first birthday. We did the hokie pokie and several other American songs. Today I had some real clingers and my arms got a good work out. The kids are so happy and fun to be around.

Its mind boggling how I have learned each personality, yet know nothing they say. Or much information about them. So much of who we are can be understood by how we act and express ourselves through gestures and actions, rather than the specific words we say. (Though hearing words makes it much easier.)

It's kinda nice to learn so much about people in different ways. It's another perspective we are getting while being here in Costa Rica.

After Bebitos I booked my flight home for Washington in June and worked out icky class schedule stuff. As much as I love my family friends, job and school, I really don't want to leave Costa Rica!!!

We booked our weekend and wandered the mall. Tomorrow we will be headed out on a party bus of nine new friends to Manuel Antonio for the weekend. We are going to be staying in hostels, soaking up the sun rays and looking at sloths and monkeys.

Life is so good. Pura Vida.

I really am learning a lot of things about the culture here, which give me an insight to greater to life.
