I come home for a week.
And at first I was depressed that I don't have a social life
...and now I don't want one.
My family is the best.
Girls day out shopping,
or a day spent in my home...
it doesn't matter, I'm happy happy happy.
Lately I've been obsessed with crafting.
I love to do pinterest crafts.
And I love to bake things,
when I have time to do it all...
and when I'm back in Logan,
I have work and school and a life.
Here it's craft day everyday.
And that makes me so entirely happy.
:)
Gentlemen
I must express my love for gentlemen in a little rant here. I love gentlemen. I love guys who will open the door for you, who will tell you that you're beautiful, who will drive you, make sure everything is just right for you. I love guys who make you feel special and care to hear what you have to see even if it's pointless stories about creeper vans and high school boys. I love guys who let you wear their clothes when you're cold or just want to look like a thug. I love guys who will walk you all the way to your car. I love guys who have it together... cleaning... cooking. I love guys who love kids. I love guys who make you feel missed and wanted. I love guys who really go out of their way to put a smile on your face.
I even got to put the flowers I sewed yesterday to use.
Emmalee and Adam loved helping me do all these :)
And tomorrow we're going to town with all the rest of those crayons.
Hanging Knobs
Tracy Plank inspired us on this project.
It's not complete, so I'll post the final part later.
But I felt like champ using power tools.
Animal print matchy-matchy.
And a halfway done knob-y board.
Hair Dyeage & Bed Time Duties
Thanks for the help mom, gotta cover my nasty roots ;)
And bed time stories with my precious girl, Em.
All the time that I've had home with my family, makes me want my own family and a winter break forever. I can't wait for the day when I can do little crafts with my kids and tuck them in with a bed time story. My little brothers tried to fight me tonight and I took them both; one day they'll squash me. My little sister shares a bed with me and one day, my cuddle buddy will be a little less gorgeous. Mona won't shoot up from the covers, but that's probably really not going to happen for me ever... after this week. Luckily Luke and Ky are around and we can implement family dinners into our schedules. And my mother is just a phone call away to always listen. Dad... he's always good for a laugh. And lately he's really been pulling through when I need to gab about my wanna-be craft projects.
I love all this time I have.
And with this last week, I plan to spend it with the people I love doing what I love.
