Happily Ever After

After countless Disney fairytales, chick flicks and the Twilight Series, it's every girls dream to fall in love with that one special man, to be swept off our feet...to forget sadness, anger, stress and to just be in love and happy forever.

"I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss"
We think of Cinderella who was a servant for her own family, who's father died and who was the only girl wanted by the prince in the village. We see Snow White and Sleeping Beauty woken up by their true love's kiss. Shrek and Fiona who are ugly creatures, but appearance doesn't matter. Jasmine who falls for not the rich king, but the homeless Aladin. Love comes in so many colors, shapes and sizes.

First kisses are magical.
Appearances don't matter.
Love is deeper.

Love is a crazy thing. It's a lot of what I think about. Who will be the one? Could it be him? Or even ooh, I hope it's him one day. It can happen fast, or slow...

My sister is getting married, so naturally I've been hearing A LOT about weddings and also been peaking at people's pictures myself. I love love, if that isn't always obvious and the cliche of my blog posts...

But in order for real love to last we need to remember that the love for the Lord and the truths of the gospel is the most important.

I want that more than anything to grow old in love with someone. To have that happily ever after. To be so old that I don't have teeth and my hair is thinned to five strands and still be smiling.

"It's your time, it's your destiny to shine, so rise, be true to royal that's inside of you, don't settle for the story that the world would have you write, you were born to reach eternal life, let faith fill every chapter, let the Savior lead you to happily ever after" -Jenny Phillips

Whether we find our prince or not, we can still have that happily ever after.
Happily ever after doesn't just have to be eternal marriage and being in love,
the real happily ever after is eternal life with our Savior.
The best part is we can have both!!! What a great plan we've been given.
