Pond Play

Today was a blast at the Clegg's pond. We finished up our family reunion on Friday and Saturday (celebrating Grandma and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary), then everyone who was able to stay and celebrate Labor Day were invited up to Grace. Grace is one of PJ and my favorite places in the whole world to visit. The people are great, at there is always some make-shift entertainment... that is so much more fun than anything around. Today we found that with our family at the Clegg's pond. PJ couldn't make it and we were missing the rest of my family, along with a few others, but we had a great great time with the ones who were able to come.

I just have to say. When they said we were going to a pond... I did not picture this. This is the coolest pond in the whole world. And what an awesome family to create this space... and to share it with others.

Now, prepare for picture overload. I volunteered myself for photographer today.

I sure love the cousins that I have been blessed with. They are the greatest. And we are so cute in our modest is hottest swimsuits! Yes, I'm tooting our own horns.

This little guy was in doggy heaven with all the mud, dirt, diggin' food and dogs.

 

Finally it was our turn to be brave. We went tandem. 

I would call this the picture of the day... cuz holy ugly, but if you keep scrolling there's a better one.

 

This dog was the coolest in the whole world. She would crouch while you are gearing up to go. Then when you are ready, she'll stand. When you push off, she'll start running then she'll beat ya to the end every time. She did this for every single person who went down. Just like that. Every time. That is one cool dog.
