My mom and three youngest siblings came to visit us. I sure love my family, even if it is always a little crazy bouncing back and forth between houses and families... (since so many fun people live within a two hour radius of Logan). We spent Saturday in Grace at the Brady's and Sunday in Layton at the Belnaps. This time was good too though because they stayed with us for a few days so we got to spend lots of awesome time with them. Usually they stay at Kylee's... but we have a great place to them to stay with us too, so now they can split their trips! ...and I have a hunk of a roomie who likes to make breakfast.
We watched general conference together.
Highlight moment: Mom went upstairs for a minute to get something... she sent Adam down to see who was speaking, because she didn't want to be missing one of the apostles. Me, knowing my mother very well, told Adam to tell her the prophet was speaking. And right on cue we heard running and mom was downstairs in a jiffy. GOTCHA mom...
Something I loved from conference... the talk that reminded us to not be ashamed of our beliefs. To not create controversy and argument, but to display them as firmly as the opposition. The woman posted her wedding picture with the caption below. I decided to do the same with one of ours. I know that this is not everyone's belief, but I do want the world to know that it is mine. I believe in the family proclamation to the world, I believe in my divine role as a daughter of God, and the power and authority of the priesthood. This conference had so many amazing talks, and just reminded me that the gospel of Jesus Christ is so true. In a world full of chaos and misunderstandings, the gospel of Jesus Christ is my anchor.
Conference is the best. It means relaxing on the couch for a min. of 8 hours in the weekend and eating delicious food.
The next day we went to the park.
We celebrated a big moment with the worker who had his window down.
Reunited with Manu and her kiddos.
Met Austin's lover and friends.
& ate some yummy KFC.
Tom & Jerry stole the show.
Emmalee, Adam and Austin rode on the motorcycle.
Emmalee, Adam and Austin drove Jerry.
Emmalee is all about girl power, she loves Jerry more than Tom. Just. like. me.
Austin drove Jerry by himself, he on the other hand, turned to the Tom side.
Probably because he learned how to drive it... which is really hard to do.
Pj then taught him how to drive stick in the jeep.
& he taught himself how to play the organ in the mortuary.
Needless to say, it was a big week for Austin, lots of firsts.
Austin and Adam also fought over my toys. Legitimately.
And Adam and Emmalee actually listened to me read my kids books. Finally, someone!

I'm getting all ready for the up and coming craft fair in Cache Valley.
Hyde Park on April 26th from 10-4.
These are my LDS inspired necklaces, I have about 15 more styles that are just great quotes.
I have also taken up typography or hand-lettering and doodles. I have sketched most of these just using pen, others I have added watercolors too.
The rejoice in our divine differences one was randomly featured in a deseretnews.com highlights article.
