Last Semester

I am amazed out how my life that I planned has changed so many times. I started out college as a Special Education major. I work with preschoolers with Autism and discovered my passion for working with young children. I switched from Severe to Mild/Moderate. And then I realized it wasn't the fit for me at all. I love children with special needs with all my heart, but I didn't want to go through my whole bachelor degree learning education classes.

I wanted to learn the development, about family relationships, marriage relationships, infancy, adolescence, family life education, preschool methods and all the classes that will help me in every day life. Whether I am in my career or not, I have this education for a back bone of day-to-day interactions.

My main emphasis is child development. I love early education and early development. I have worked in over five preschools since I have lived in Logan. All of these opportunities have given me a diverse understanding and knowledge of children and their needs. I love working in preschool settings. The past year I have worked in an infant classroom. Infants are incredible to work with. When I learned about infant massage in my infancy class, something in my brain lit up with excitement. Ever since then I have been researching and studying all about it. I have made contact with several certified instructors, signed up for training, read articles and books. I am so excited about having this specialty in infant massage along with my child development degree.

Four years ago, none of this would have been in this plan. I am graduating with experience, three emphases and an infant massage certification. And all a semester early. Along the way my plans and ideas for my career and future have changed. Not to mention I met my husband here in the small town of Logan, Utah. And he's even more amazing than he was the day I fell in love with him.

I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has guided me to make decisions and take opportunities that have changed my plan for the better. My life is incredible. I owe this success and experience to my Savior Jesus Christ and Father in Heaven.

Here's another update on our life.

Yoli Convention
We went down to visit our family a few weeks ago at the Yoli convention.

I discovered my favorite friends at social events are under the age of five.
I played with fake guns for hours.

School-life

Between school, work and homework, sometimes we don't see each other until really late. One night I came out of the library to get on Jerry, and there was his little friend Tom. Pj found the perfect parking spot.

My classes are keeping me very busy. Teaching in the preschool lab has been so fun and has been keeping me busy. These snakes were my visitors these last couple of days.

In december I will be graduating in
Family, Consumer and Human Development B.S.
with three emphasis in
Child Development, Human Development and Family Community Services

Infant Massage

over fall break I will be going to Portland to become a
Certified Educator of Infant Massage

I am very excited to become an infant massage instructor.
Infant massage has so many benefits to infants and parents.

This link will be the quickest way to learn the benefits of infant massage.

Etsy Boutique

I am in a sewing class this semester as one of my last electives. I am getting much better at the little things. Having said that, I still have my etsy boutique running. I don't have as much time to promote it, but I do get a constantly flow of orders each month.

Oh yeah, and it's football season...
(He's reading the schedule on the back of the grocery bag).

Love you all. Give me your update.
I feel so out off contact with people this semester.
